Arabella holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology from the University of San Diego. She conducted research on the human-dog relationship in both modern and upper Paleolithic times. Her dogs Lani and Hazel both compete in AKC Rally Obedience.

She conducted an independent research study on the culture of urban dog ownership in San Diego, and another research project on the necessity of dog parks in DC.
She received the honor of Cum Laude upon graduating.

Arabella is a Family Dog Mediator, which is a training certification that focuses on how to see problematic canine behaviors from the a new perspective using the L.E.G.S (Learning, Environment, Genetics, Self) model.

She spent 2 years training clients in San Diego with Hazel Works Dog Training. She successfully took on behavioral cases, like leash reactivity and separation anxiety. She also gave obedience training lessons to new dog and puppy owners.

Arabella is a mom to a two year old son. In her free time she bakes, runs, makes pottery, and competes in Rally obedience with her two dogs.
